Obama Funding Nets Higher Ed for Moms

Returning to school might be a dream for some mothers who had to give up education when they got married and started a family, but they can make it come true due to government funding released by President Barack Obama . The funding is aimed at getting these women education so that they can enter the work field in time.

Time and money are the two key reasons moms tend to not go back to school. The Pell Grant offered by Obama can negate both of those factors. Since it is a grant, it does not have to be paid back. Also, there are more online schools nowadays so the degree can be earned from the convenience of home, which frees up time that would be spent on the commute to and from school.
